ICSE inter School Girls Basketball Trophy
St. Xavier’s Sr. Sec. School, Chandigarh girls team won the ICSE inter school Girls basketball trophy 2013 organised by Strawberry Fields world School, Chandigarh on 9th -10th December, 2013 wherein 5 ICSE schools of the tri city took part.
As the school closes on 21st December, 2013 for the winter vacations, Christmas will be celebrated on 19th December, 2013 wherein the Students of Classes 4 to 9 will be putting up a small tableau showing the birth of Jesus and his sacrifice for the humanity.
The faculties of Hindi, Punjabi and Commerce are going to organize an inter school event – WINTRY MEDLEY comprising of Hindi declamation, Gurbani competition and Commerce quiz as a part of departmental activity on 18th December, 2013 Wherein 10 schools from all over the tri city are going to be a part of this event.
10th EMILY GOSAIN MEMORIAL BASKETBALL- 2013 AT ST. XAVIER’S HIGH SCHOOL, PANCHKULA 29.11.2013
St. Xavier's High School, Panchkula is staged the 10th Emily Gosain Memorial Basketball Tournament for schools on the 27, 28 and 29th November, 2013. The tournament was played in two categories – Boys U-14 & Girls U-15, 13 teams from the tricity confirmed their participation.

Inter House Maths Quiz Was Conducted For Classes 2 And 3 In St Xaviers High School, Panchkula.29.11.2013
The main focus of the quiz was to develop logical thinking and mental ability of the children. The main aim of this quiz was to expel fear and create passion for maths among students. The Headmistress Mrs. Cynthia Shear appreciated the efforts of students and she further emphasized that such activities should be conducted frequently to enhance their mental abilities.
ST. XAVIER'S HIGH SCHOOL PANCHKULA HOSTS KAVYANJALI 28.11.2013
A Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition - KAVYANJALI was organised in the Junior Wing of St. Xavier's High School, Panchkula. The competition was organised with a purpose to create and develop the skills of self expression. The Children recited poems with a lot of passion. The competition proved to be quite challenging for the judges in terms of selecting the winners as each one performed with great enthusiasm.
Communal Harmony Week Observed in St. Xavier’s High School ,Panchkula.
“God does not create Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs or Christians – he creates only Humans – children of Mother Earth”.
Communal disharmony has become a social problem in India. So, with a view to foster & reinforce the spirit of Communal Harmony and thereby impress upon the students to shun negative feelings of prejudice hatred and jealousy, the Communal Harmony National Integration Week from 19 -25th November 13 was conducted in the school.
Students as well as teachers spoke about the necessity of communal harmony during special assemblies held on 22nd & 25th November 2013. Poems were recited to exhort virtues of tolerance and also to themselves be the change in society to communicate peacefully with one another.

Many innocent children have suffered due to communal clashes. The importance of donating money for the education of these unfortunate children on Flag Day was conveyed.The staff and students pledged to build a better and secure future for generations to come. The celebration culminated with the students singing Vande Maatram along with the music teacher sh. Dharampal.
