An Inter -house 'WALKATHON ' was held at St.Xavier's High School, Panchkula . The theme of the Walkathon was 'Eco-Friendly Diwali . The objective behind this activity was to encourage students to celebrate a pollution free Diwali. The students of classes VI to IX participated enthusiastically .At the end ,our Principal Sir, Mr. George S. Shear , addressed the students and made them aware of the ill-effects of bursting crackers. He blessed the students and wished everyone a Happy diwali .
