ST. XAVIER’S HIGH SCHOOL, PANCHKULA recently held its much-awaited Inter-House General Knowledge and Social Science Quiz Contest titled “Unity in Knowledge: A Bharat Quiz”, for students of Classes 7 to 10. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased the spirit of unity through the lens of learning.
Designed to deepen students’ understanding of India’s rich history, geography, social fabric, and contemporary developments, the quiz brought together sharp minds from all the four houses. Teams competed in multiple challenging rounds covering topics such as the Indian freedom struggle, constitutional values, current affairs, scientific achievements, and cultural heritage.
The event served as a dynamic platform for the students to display their knowledge and teamwork. True to its theme, the quiz highlighted how diverse areas of learning can unite to build a deeper sense of national pride and awareness.
Principal Mr. George S. Shear congratulated all the participants and the organizers, stating, “It was a joy to see our students so actively engaged with the idea of Bharat. Events like these not only sharpen minds but also nurture responsible and informed citizens". Winners were awarded trophies and certificates, while all participating teams were appreciated for their dedication and spirited involvement. The event concluded with applause for the student participants, the quizmasters and the teachers who made the event a grand success.
